Caregivers will now have access to new pathways to permanent residence
Launching 2 new 5-year caregiver immigration pilot programs
February 23, 2019—Toronto, ON– Caregivers will soon have access to 2 new 5-year caregiver immigration pilots that will replace expiring and ineffective pilot programs. The new pilots will allow caregivers to come to Canada together with their family and provide a pathway to permanent residence.
The Settlement Program assists immigrants and refugees in overcoming barriers specific to the newcomer experience, such as a lack of official language skills and limited knowledge of Canada, so that they can participate in social, cultural, civic and economic life in Canada. The program focuses on five areas: needs assessment and referrals, information and orientation; language training and skills development; employment related services; and community connections. There are also support services to ensure that programming is accessible, such as transportation, child care and translation services. All services are designed and delivered by service provider organizations in Canada and overseas.
February 18, 2019—Ottawa, ON—As part of its commitment to deliver high quality settlement services to newcomers, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is issuing a call for proposals for the Settlement and Resettlement Assistance programs.
An OVERALL 8.0 BAND SCORE was achieved by ACCESS Institute student Amit in the IELTS(General) test. Amit attended the 15 days Fast-track batch. This is another successful attempt of ACCESS Institute, having trained numerous candidates using skillfully designed techniques, strategies and exam oriented practice. It is achievable with the successful blend of expert guidance and individual effort.
